Combo Spa Pool

Hi,

I have a pool and spa running off one variable speed pump. My spa has a spill over feature which I have to run to allow for the water in the spa to circulate. Referring to the attached pic how would you recommend the return valves be positioned for optimal return to pool and spa? I'm not sure if one should be opened more than the other.

Dan, it looks like you have an Aqualink system.

We recommend you use the SPILLOVER mode on the Aqualink to run the spillover once or twice a day for 15 - 30 minutes to refresh the spa water. That is all it takes.

Thanks, Allen. I thought the spillover had to run all the time since that's the only way it gets circulation. But now I know running it all the time has contributed to my pH rising due to the aeration of the water. I will look into this. Thanks again.
