Cloudy Gas When SWG is On?

This is my 2nd year with my SWG and I dont remember this at all last year. When the SWG cycles on, the returns emit this cloudy water that kinda looks like it could be the chlorine gas the SWG makes. Im not sure if this is normal or not. I just added new salt this morning and I know you are supposed to wait 24 hours before using the SWG but I wanted to get the system working again and get some chlorine in the pool. I can reply tomorrow after its been 24 hours but for now the SWG is turned off. When the cell is off, no cloudy emissions.

When the SWCG is operating it creates small bubbles. Mine do not look quite that strong, but I run a VS pump at low rates.

Within my SWG cell, the gas is cloudy looking as its produced. No problems in the pool though. So I say relax you're ok!

Same here , mine doesn't like quite that cloudy, since i also run a vs pump. Mime is set a 1200 to 1400 rpm

I had the same problem this year when opening. Lots of bubbles causing the pool to turn cloudy when the SWG was active. It went away eventually. I was thinking it maybe that the water was pretty cold when I started up.

The bubbles does not turn my pool cloudy, the bubbles just look cloudy coming out of the returns

They should be just hydrogen. You can confirm by lighting them with a lighter. I light mine it is great fun actually!

Normal. Mine does that as well... That way I know it's makin' Chlorine!

It doesn't make the water cloudy..

I've noticed a lot more bubbles with my new cell that I installed this year. I need to get my lighter out too
