My Caretaker 99 system keeps loosing pressure due to the screen clogging with debris from pool. Even happens after I completely clean DE filters

I do not have a system like yours but Is this what you are talking about...
If so, a DE filter should not let anything through unless it has holes in the filter grids letting stuff through.. You may have to replace the grids.. not sure what filter you have, could you fill out your equipment list in your signature for us
