Pool was built in 2003.
Gunite pool with Pebble-Tec finish
Pool tiles started popping off a few years ago--not bad until this year.
We have a Caretaker 99 system with the LeafTrapper.

Very low water flow into the LeafTrapper. It appears that the drain line is clogged. We tried blowing it out with a pool noodle/hose in the drain line, but that only helped a little bit. I think that we need to remove the main drain cover and remove some loos tiles and grout that may be clogging the drain line.

Are there any suggested methods beyond a mask and air tank (diving)? I cannot hold my breath that long.

TIA for any suggestions.

I have a two way valve that directs return flow to popups/leaf catcher . If you have the same , you could try to direct 100% return flow to leaf catcher plumbing with the pump set on a high rpm. that might create enough return pressure to release a possible blockage
