We are renting a vacation house for a week. The pool has a finish with what looks like tiny black specs. It is tearing my youngest sons feet up and has cut me once. Not a finish I want! Just curious if anyone knows what it is?
Can someone identify this finish?

It's exposed aggregate aka pebble finish.
My pool has it and while it's not tearing up our feet, my kids and I did get bruised few times when brushed against the walls or floor.

As was said, that is an exposed aggregate aka pebble finish.
I prefer smooth pools with polished quartz finish.
