Can I robot clean

So, just took a peek under the covers and see the water is clear, but there is a bunch of small dirt debris everywhere.
Can I use my dolphin before I even take the cover fully off?
Water temp at 47.

Yes, my robot does fine cleaning under the solar cover.

Sent my robot in under cover today, This is how I always do my openings. In April, get the pump circulating the water, add some chlorine if needed and send in the robot to to clean up the bottom. I don't pull the cover off until mid-May,

So, you pull out gizmos and start pump before removing the winter cover?
