Do not add Calcium Chloride on the same day you raise PH or Alkalinity. Can anyone tell me why?

Welcome to TFP!!!Because if they do not fully dissolve and concentrate on the bottom of the pool, the localized very high pH can cause the localized high CH to immediate produce hard scaling on the pool surface.
