My pool calcium just hit 250ppm so it's time to bring it up. Our fill water here is soft and I occasionally have to add calcium. I've always used Puri-Tech Calcium Chloride to increase calcium in the past. I primarily use liquid chlorine and tri-chlor sticks as needed for CYA or when I'm away. Is there any reason I can't use the cal-hypo at the link below instead of liquid until my Ca is up? It's cheaper than some other pool brands and doesn't show any mystery ingredients.
