Bullnose Paver Grout Width

Question how wide should be the grout in general?

I want it as thin as possible without any longterm problems. These are for bullnose pavers

On standard coping i use 3/8" it's small yet wide enough to get a small joiner into amd possibly use a grout bag if needed. I wouldnt go smaller than 1/4" the tighter the joint the more perfect the cuts need to be. In MD you have freeze cycles so you shouldn't just butt them water will get in amd pop them down the road. Don't forget to caulk under the front and I always seal the coping before I mud them
