Broken ring around return jet inlet

Hoping this isnt a major issue. How do I repair this? Do I just replace the ring and maybe a gasket?

This is probably a simple repair. A few pictures are really needed though.

Thanks, trying to figure out the best way to post pics, it keeps telling me the size is too big even when I shrink them down pretty small.

I had to use MSPaint then "resize" to 50%. That solved my photo size issue, might help with yours?

I couldn't post pics because my quota was full. Just deleted a couple to make room.



I ordered a new ring that comes with 2 gaskets, hopefully that's all I need. Should I be concerned about the small tear?

That’s an easy one. Only use on black gasket on top of liner & look for the little notch under liner them line up he new 1408 faceplate with the notch and proceeds with install.
Your liner is too old to dig around to install the 2nd gasket.

Can this be done underwater?

Yup, i prefer to do this underwater. The pressure helps steady the liner.
