Title pretty much says it all. I added some to the pool this summer for the first time, but wondering how often they may need to be replenished. I have ordered some of the Taylor test strips, but how accurate are they?

Borates are like salt and decrease as pool water is drained. As you see your salt level dropping and needing to be replaced you can assume the borates have dropped proportionally.
