Booster pump is HOT

I have an old booster pump that runs rather hot (176 F). Its been running for nearly two hours and is in mostly shade. If I remember correctly its wired up as 220. The pump making any noises that would concern me, its just hot - is 176 too high?

It may not be fair to compare it to my Pantair SuperFlow VS but the main pump is only 101 ...

I know this post was a while back ....... are you still questioning the heat issue? That motor sure looks to have seen its better days. Time for a swap perhaps?
