Bond Wire Coupling

I have a bare copper bond wire that comes up to my pool pad out of the ground, and after the 8” that is exposed at the pad, the rest of the wire is completely encased in concrete all the way to the pool shell. What is the best way to couple a new piece of 8awg bare copper to this wire so I can bond all of the equipment at the pad together and tie the bond back to the pool shell as well?
