When the summer was over last year we had quite a lot black algae outbreaks. We had spent a lot of money on chemicals. This year we had to add a large amount of bleach, did Slam and Soda. When the pool finally cleared most of the black algae was gone. there are a few small spots that I am brushing down.
QUESTION: What would you recommend the chemistry stay at in order to keep the black algae from becoming more active?
I have a clear pool and the Pool Math does not suggest doing anything.
