Anyone know what happened to BigWill?
Just read through his whole post and that pool color is exactly what I’m going for. Would like a better break down on what he changed in the plaster recipe but looks like he’s been off for awhile. I’m here in San Antonio Tx and about half way through my build when I found this group. I will post pics later on my progress to catch everyone up. Looks like a great group of pool owners and tons of information!

If it's just the plaster color, he went into detail on what it was on several occasions.

Ok great. Been reading through a bunch of post but will for sure go back through it. Can’t decide on midnight or tropics blue ???

I had midnight and it wasn't fantastic. I highly recommend adding glass - puerto Rico blend and removing the gold pebbles. The abalone is not worth it and will be problematic down the road.

Both of those colors can have a greenish water color so removing the gold pebbles will help.

It was fine when it was new but over a year or two the plaster color faded and it turned the water to a greenish color which I didn't like. That's why I suggest using glass because it's color will not change.

Here's a good example of the Midnight after its faded. It was 3 years old here
