Our Bestway 24x52 round ABG pool rusted out in less than a year and we do not use saltwater and we are not near saltwater. The inside of the poles and cross pieces are not treated and are extremely thin. This is what we used to try and stop the rust once the poles, cross members, and corners were replaced. BOESHIELD T-9 Rust & Corrosion Protection/Inhibitor and Waterproof Lubrication, 12 oz.
I am also attaching a couple of pics of the rusted pieces.

On the side of the pool, take a photo of the s/n, email bestway and they will replace the parts for free if it's not a year old, it does have warranty against rust. You just need to open a ticket with them. My bestway is going on it's 3rd season, I had one part replaced because of surface rust. If you leave it up through out the winter, I bet that's what's happened. I take mine down, clean it free from dirt, dry it out and put it in a deck storage box. I don't see soft sided above ground pools as something that should be up for 12 months in an area that has longish (5+ months) winters.
