Best skimmer bag?

Is there a skimmer bag that will actually skim the pollen off the surface of the pool? I’m not a fan of the bag the previous home owner left us, it seems to miss a lot. Thanks!

Do you mean a leaf net or pool rake? They won;t have fine enough mesh

A knee-high nylon or a foodservice hair net stretched over the skimmer basket will catch most of the stuff on the surface. Search hairnet on this site and you'll get lots of hits including a link to amazon to order some.

If you mean bags that go into the skimmer, then hairnets (100 from Amazon for 6 bucks) are what a lot of people use.

I meant the leaf rake or bag whatever the technical name is. Not skimmer baskets, the bag on the end of the pole that you clean the surface of the pool with.

I use a silt net for the fine debris on the surface when the skimmer didn't get it. Gets the pollen and tiny little springtails that are on the surface easily. I really don't ever use the leaf rake anymore.
