Beads in the pump pre filter.

Slightly strange but a year ago I found 2 hard polished round white beads in the pump pre filter. then yesterday I found 2 more.
Apart from people, the only other thing that goes in the pool is a robot cleaner. I have looked at the parts daigram on line and cannot see any of these beads in a bearing or the like. the robot is an Astral H7Duo also made by "Aquabot" and called Rapide I belive.
Has anybody any idea where they come from?

Do you have any kind of mineral sanitizer cartridge in the system?
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry and consider reviewing the entire Pool School eBook.

My Dolphin robot had some of the bearings come apart, but they were metal and not ceramic, however that’s the same spot I started finding mine. Had to replace all 6 bearings/gears in the cleaner for the tracks.

I have had my pool robot (Aquabot Rapid 2000 in USA) on it's back and checked all the areas around the tracks etc. but no sign of where the beads might have come from. The online parts diagram does not show any detail just the main parts for replacement.

The air gun bit could be the answer, I don't know what an air soft gun is so I'll google it. I now think they are AirSoft pellets, the measurements seem to match.
