Balancing new pool

I had to add 4 lbs of stabilizer. Basically a jug of the Clorox pool and spa stabilizer just to get it up to 70. Still have some to go but getting there.
New pool here also.

I am now at:
FC = 7 (target 6)
ph = 7.3 (pretty good but will have to lower to bring down TA)
TA = 100 (target 80)
CH = 200 (was told by builder to leave alone for a year)
CYA = 70 (target 80)

I am debating the borates when I get this dialed in.

CYA 70 is fine this time of year. Wait and see what your FC loss is as you get into the summer With CYA 70.

pH of 7.3 is fine. Your TA will come down as you lower ph due to the normal new plaster rise.

Targets should be ranges not a specific number. Anywhere in the range is ok.

Thank you for the insight.
I am still trying to find the sweet spot for the SWG.
