[FONT=.SF UI Text][FONT=.SFUIText]This past week our just finished getting retiled and resurfaced and we went with a pebble finish using wet edge technologies (comparable to Pebble Tec). I'm curious if the problems we've encountered so far are very common and not problems at all or if we went with the wrong plastering company (a very popular and reputable company in the area). Any insight would greatly be appreciated as we've never resurfaced a pool before. [/FONT][/FONT]

[FONT=.SF UI Text][FONT=.SFUIText]-When the guy from the company showed up to fire the pool back up and add the startup chemicals 2 days ago (the day right after fill up), my husband and I noticed that one of our pool jets was completely missing and bubbles were coming out of the pool wall in its place and they had completely plastered over one of our pool jets. He said it wasn't at all common but does happen and fixed it by hitting the jetted area with a hammer to expose the jet and removing the tape it was covered by. [/FONT][/FONT]

[FONT=.SF UI Text][FONT=.SFUIText]- We also pointed out to him before he left that there was already a large dark hole on the bottom of our pool plaster. Upon further notice we've found 2 white large holes in our connected spa finish. The gentleman said its no problem at all for them to patch it and they'll come back this week. [/FONT][/FONT]

[FONT=.SF UI Text][FONT=.SFUIText]- We've followed the company print out to a tee about care and maintenance and brushing and chemicals but right before doing our daily brush today on day 2, we noticed that there are dozens of white dents and holes (small but very noticeable against our dark bottom pool surface) on the steps, wall, and floor. It almost felt like styrofoam pieces coming from the finish? [/FONT][/FONT]

[FONT=.SF UI Text][FONT=.SFUIText]- we noticed a piece of tape or string from the side of the pool that looked like it was plastered over and sticking out of our pool wall and swirling around. Obviously we're not touching it or intervening at all to make it worse but will have them fix it. [/FONT][/FONT]

[FONT=.SF UI Text][FONT=.SFUIText]- just to make matters worse, they also rinsed all of their plaster tools off in our grass so now there are large spots all over our yard with tiny pebbles, large pieces of concrete, and dried concrete to the roots of the grass that'll definitely kill the grass in time.
