Auto fill failed

I am having problems with the auto fill on my pool. It never shuts off and the pool level just remains so high that it is draining out the overflow drain. Been going on for a couple months now. I finally found the shut off to the autofill. We installed the autofill 5 years ago so maybe its just worn out?

Have you attempted to adjust it? Most are a simple float valve.

Post a picture of the autofill valve/float. Chances are it can be adjusted or replaced quite easily.
