Good question. Don't know the exact age, but too old. Replacing is a necessity, hopefully not till next year though. It was still holding up pretty well.

My holes last year were all in the returns.

There was a huge hole in the liner when I opened this year, the side wall was visible through it. I think I patched that pretty well though. Put on a patch let it dry, then patched over the patch to make sure it adhered nicely, due to the exposed metal. Not sure what happened there? Floating jagged ice maybe? Or maybe the pool dropped due to all the extra snow, moisture and the weird freeze thaw cycle we had. The dye I'm using didn't seem to escape out there, at any rate.
