Just want to be sure here (take a look at pic). Do I read this as 5.6 (3890 ppm salt) at the apex of the light color?

When I tested mine, it landed in the same place. I took a sample to the pool store (not leslies) and they tested it with their Goldline hand held tester thing and it was 2700. Big difference! Not too sure which one to believe.

ask the pool store when was the last time they calibrated the Goldline meter. We use a Goldline meter that we calibrate on a regular basis and the strips also and I KNOW the strips are usually withing 200 ppm of the meter! Also remember that EACH bottle of strips is individually calibrated and you have to use the chart on the bottle the strip came out of to get the ppm reading!
