Need some advice . I have an aquatrol with t-5 cell. Had the cell tested at Leslie's pools. They said cell is working fine. I Replaced the thermistor still no change. I am getting a salt level reading an that is all. When I push diagnostic button nothing happens. The red power and green generating lights do not come on at all. It seems that all the rest of the functions are working.

Everything I read says get the diagnostics reading . But the button is not functioning. So is that a main board, display board , cell or non of the above.
Manual salt strips are about 3000.

Read ABC s of pool water chemistry. Will be Very helpful once I get the swg operating. The only level that will cause the swg not to function is salt level. Is that correct? Both the read out on display 3200 and the salt stip test 3000 are in range to generate. The power light should light up when in super chlorinate mode . Is that correct?

Salt level and flow rate are what controls the operation, as long as there is power to the unit. The power light should lite up when there is power to the unit.
@JamesW may have some guidance tips for you.

Try removing and reinstalling the display board.
Saw your post on that with another person . I tried that multiple times . Again just now still does not work. . As for the no power light issue - I changed the thermistor with a clamp in version Again no change. When I took the unit out to setup a few weeks ago I noticed some what looked like hard water residue around the two lights that are not working and it cleaned off pretty well with board cleaner and a nylon brush. Also the diagnostic button worked intermittently but then stopped working completely. I do get a accurate salt reading .

Check the back of the main board for burn marks or discoloration, specifically the K1 relay which is just to the right of the display board. You may have cold solder break in one of the points. If so, lay down a fresh coat of solder.
