So the tile store I went to said, “Yes, it’s glass. You can use it.” But I can’t find the specifications. It would be for the spillover so exterior like a fountain wall. Then the ceramic I wanted to use says no- again I can’t find the water absorption rate or hardness, etc. to know why. I asked the pool builder and he said the ceramic I chose would work for the waterline tile. I love these selections but don’t want to spend a ton of money to have to redo it sooner than I should have to. Any help on what to look for would be appreciated.
Any glass tile? Any ceramic?

Just be sure whatever you get is made to be submerged in water. Most tile is not designed for that. Glass can be a real problem in areas of hard water.
