another new guy

I'm not really new but finally created an account. Pool is 3 years old this season and we just added a hot tub. Pool is salt water, 18 x 36 inground & vinyl, hot tub is 315 gallons on a frog system(for now). So far pool been very easy to maintain, the tub is just starting out but already had an issue. The second cartridge of frog chlorine lasted roughly 5 days instead of the 3-4 weeks the first one lasted. This sent my chlorine levels off the charts high so now looking to other sanitize methods for the tub. That's it!

Well, well, well...Kapanink! Glad you've come out of lurkdom and shared your pool details with us.

I use one of the micro sized salt water chlorinators in my hot tub. Have you considered one of those instead of the frog?
