Algae growing in Polaris 280 bag

When I SLAMed my pool, I left my Polaris 280 out of the pool. I previously had trouble with algae growing in the corners/seams of the bag. I had hope a few days sitting in the sun and drying out, would kill the algae. When I cleaned out the bag Sunday, the bag still had algae growing where it was. Short of buying a new bag, any ideas on how I could kill the algae?

Thanks in advance for any feedback you have!

SLAM the bag. You should have left the Polaris int he pool during the SLAM Process. Youc an have algae around the insides of the unit.

Mix a solution of chlorine in a trash can and soak the 280 in it for a few days. Test the FC in the bucket and top it off if the FC drops.
