My pool builder just came out today and opened our pool (just installed last August). I was vacuuming this evening and noticed I keep losing suction. There are no leaves in the pool FYI, just dirt, and I cleaned out skimmer and pump baskets multiple times. I have suction for about 60 seconds, then pump starts sounding different. When I shut it off, I have water coming out of the pump lid. This definitely didn’t happen last year! Is it a problem with the pump seal/gasket? The screws are tight and the pump does prime initially. I have a couple short clips that show what it sounds like when it loses suction and what happens when I turn off the pump but no clue how to upload a video. Below is a still clip showing the water that comes out for a second when I turn the pump off. Thanks!!
