Aeration adapter air valve larger than one that came with pool?

Hi again!

Can I leave the "stock" valve on? The one that came with the "2100GPH KRYSTAL CLEAR™ SAND FILTER PUMP" is too big and I don't feel comfortable making the hold larger.

Welcome to the forum.

Could you post some pictures? I have no idea what the "stock" valve is, or what it is connected to.
