[h=1]We bought a Hayward 500 Aqua Bug Above-Ground Automatic Pool Cleaner. It is meeting our needs. My question is there a adaptor to attach the hose to my Hayward Skim Vac Plate? When i manuel vac the leaves go into the skimmer basket. In order to attach the aqua bug i have to remove the Skim Vac Plate and basket and use the included adapter. The problem is that i have to empty the pump basket. If available i would rather buy the adapter than buy the $37.00 Leaf Canister.[/h]

This is what I use. Do you think this will work for you? The hardest part is keeping the hose full of water and still getting it on the plate.

I have a wanda whale and got a leaf canister and it do not work for me

Why would you have to remove the basket? It is made to sit over the basket. It does on mine any way........hummmmmmmm wonder how yours is different than mine?
