About to start soon

Panoramic taken from roughly mid point of where pool is going. Tree work is done, except for yanking a couple stumps. Digging to commence within the week as long as weather remains nice. Met with architect yesterday to get the pool house/shed drawn up.

Just noticed the panoramic makes the yard look really huge and the house so far away.

Yeah, they'll be here with an excavator anyways. Saves on the cost of the tree work.

It was my pool guys idea. He’s been great. Even remembered to leave some trees to put the zip line back up.

Well, we were supposed to start digging this week but because of all the rain our PB is behind schedule on another pool. Currently slated for the week of the 20th. Just hoping it’s done before the kids get out of school on June 13th or 18th, whatever day it is.

The weather is killing me. We’ve been pushed back until June 4th. I want my pool.

Ugh, pushed back one more day. Excavator got tied up on another job. It sucks. PB has been awesome so far, but he has to rely on subs for excavation. And now it’s supposed to rain again on Wednesday. I hate New England weather.

Bad rain and bad subs!!! GURRRRRRRR I have a big sad for you BUT at least they told you. There have been some that just don't show up with no reason why

Our PB has been very good. Actually stopped by the house to tell me and go over a few things again, just to make sure he has everything right before digging starts. We’re a month behind schedule which really sucks but it’s been a miserable spring so it’s understandable.

They were just a little excited.

Going to try and set up a camera tomorrow to try and capture some time lapse.

When do they think they will be done digging? As soon as they say "done" run out there with a tape measure and the plans in hand. It is wide, deep, long, etc enough? Add about 8" for the steel, shell, and plaster. NOW is the time to fix or tweak.

Well, we ran into an issue with water. Which is surprising since it’s all sand and very easy digging. PB thinks there may have been an underground stream. He’s dealt with them before in the area. They have to add in drainage so that’s delaying us a couple of days. But hole is pretty much done. It’s definitely big, deep, and going to be awesome.
