calcium deposits. on swg cell plates

Last year I only had to clean the deposits off my cell once every 8 weeks....this year its weekly! My CH is 300. Anyway to keep it from doing this? My water from the tap is CH 250 so unless I drain the pool....that wont help much. I saw that they sell a product you put in the water to help kerp your swg cell clean...does it work?

Just keep the pH down to about 7.4 and you should be ok. Allow the TA to go where it needs to go to keep the ph stable. Keep the cya at 60.

Thank you.....my TA is 100 my ph is about 7.8. I will get those numbers down a little and see if it helps
