Going Out of Town SLAM Question

I'll be heading out of town for two days and won't have help with the pool. I've read on here some raise the FC to SLAM level for this short of a trip and let the FC level drift down, which works perfect in this instance. Do I have to let the pump run continuously like a SLAM for algae or can I leave it on the timer like usual? Just wondering if the water sitting still at a high FC level will damage the liner or pool equipment.

Just make sure your pump ran long enough to really mix the FC and you will be find leaving it like normal.
