Chlorine questions

I just changed my 10,000 gallon above ground to salt water. It's gotten pretty hazy. I've put numerous chlorine tabs in the filter, shocked, but on my test strips, it still shows no chlorine levels. Am I using the wrong test strips? Is it a different kind of chlorine that the system produces?

Welcome to TFP!

Chlorine is chlorine, whether it is from tabs, the SWCG or a bleach bottle.

Generally the water getting cloudy is the first sign that something is starting to grow,in the water, algae.

Test strips are generally worthless for testing. You need a quality, accurate test kit to be able to follow our teachings. I recommend the TF100 at TFTestkits.net

To follow our pool care recommendations you need a kit with the FAS-DPD chlorine test which most kits do not have. That test is generally not available locally.
