After storms, my pump will no longer cut on

For the past week, we have received alot of storms and heavy rains
Our pool is over filled and as today being our first "dry" day, we went out to let some water out and turn our pump back on (as last night before bed we turned it off due to storms) to find that it will no longer power up. What couldve happened? As itwas actually pretty calm after turning it off last night. Help!

There should be gfci reset button on the plug. It could be that or the breaker in the house that it is plugged into. It is also possible that your outdoor plug is gfci or one of the other outdoor plugs is gfci and controls all outdoor plugs.
