How do I test for 50 ppm of borax?

Hello,

I am adding borax and MA tomorrow to my pool. My understanding is that it is best to maintain the borax level at 50 ppm. How do I check to see what the borax level is?

It is best to hold off on adding borates to your pool until you gain a firm grasp of how TFPC works and can dictate pretty much how your pool reacts on a daily basis. Of course, we can not stop you from wishing to do so and going forward. You will need to order borate test strips from tftestkits.net.

Thanks. I checked that forum again, but didn't see how to check to see what the ppm is. Any other suggestions?

The borate strips are what I am looking for. I monitor my pool on a daily sometimes bi-daily basis and feel that I have a pretty good idea of how it reacts. Thanks for the input.
