Ive had pool only two years. about 6 months after it was filled i began to notice a 'fog' developing around my tiles at the bottom of the pool. i have pictures from all stages of the build. i can attach them if i could figure it out. they are on my desktop pc. each time i select the file the upload fails.

the pool company want to come and pour a chemical in the pool to try to remove the stain. i will be unable to use the pool for about 4 days
the chemical is muriatic acid. they want to add 10 gallons to remove the stain. what are your thoughts on this approach?
I have heard of using muriatic acid for stains before. That is all I have. I am not sure if it worked or not. I do know it will drive down your PH.
