I have an Aqua Logic system for my salt pool. The analyzer reads out a ppm value consistently 600 ppm lower than test kits and in-store testers. Which probe in the system (temp, flow, etc.) actually senses the level of salt in the pool?
Salinity tests are +-400ppm and the analyzer also has an error factor. The SWG doesn't actually measure the salinity but it measures the conductivity of the water and then displays it as the salinity in ppm. Usually the are accurate, but like yours my old Jandy Aquapure was always a few hundred lower than my test kit readings. I didn't bother with either reading as the SWG was always happy with the salinity and never stop working due to low or high salt.
