We are filling our vinyl pool today and water is going in as deep end is halfway up the slope...we noticed a small section in deep end where vinyl is not attached. Should we stop filling?

I would say yes, it is easier get vinyl liners back in their track the lower the water level is.
All I see is that gorgeous border! Oh, there it is - I agree, so tiny. But you don't want it to be a big headache. That could delay things even longer. The fates are sure teasing you. Suz.
Talked to owner of a local pool company he said totally normal and keep on filling!! Woo

Ok, that is a small one, but will still be easier to fix if the water level is a couple of feet below the edge
Isaac we stopped the water at the low end being 6 inches so it is definitely a couple feet from the waters

It's sometimes a good idea to Liner Lock the entire pool. It's not hard or easy to do. It does give you extra insurance against future liner pop outs, which can be annoying and difficult to fix when the pool is full and/or the liner gets older and loses elasticity.
Thanks everyone for answering me more quickly than my PB did last night, when I was worrying like crazy. They have already fixed both spots in 15 seconds..

Liner lock is a plastic wedge shaped strip that gets pushed into the liner track with the liner bead to secure the liner in better.
