Theres so many different kinds... and different prices...

My question is, Whats the best for a 5000 gallon pool..
I mean I only spent 350 for the pool on sale..
I dont really wanna spend more for a pump/filter than I spend on the pool..
Granted the Filter has a KEY job...
I currently have the INTEX 1500 gph... Is that good for now?
Or should I upgrade ASAP? Should I go to SAND? seems like alot of people LIKE sand...

i guess I just want the best bang for my buck considering I dont have ALOT invested in the actual
pool structure...

Thanks for any advice...

Welcome to TFP! Congrats on your new gateway pool! :-D

Agree 100% with Tim, water chemistry is 90% and filter is 10%. You've got a good test kit to start with. But, when you get tired of those Intex cartridges you should take a look at the Intex sand filter. Everyone likes them. Get a bigger one so it is big enough for your next pool.
