So, idk what i've done wrong here, but this was my procedure....
Held vacuum head under water and held hose to return (while pump was on)...this filled the hose with water....i kept the hose underwater and moved it to the inlet...i vacuumed. I disconnected the vacuum hose and then pulled it out of the pool. I switched the pump off and it threw up all the contents of the basket right back into the pool. Then i tried to turn the pump back on, and there was air in the lines.
So, what is the proper procedure to prime this pump? This is my third season with this pool and i'm either exhausted from the NC heat already and tired from work, or i'm slowly losing my mind...because I cannot remember how to do it!
