My TA is 100...do I need to adjust it higher?

Hi,

Just had a test at my pool store for a few reasons but mostly just to see how mine matches up with my Taylor kit. I came out to 100, they got 92. Anyway, they want me to add 11 lbs of TA increaser, with their recommended range being 125-150. Isn't that a bit higher than needed? I thought that where I am is fine. Should I bring it up a bit? This is a gunite pool.

You did the right thing coming here to ask. Now you need to use and trust YOUR tests. The pool store is out to make money so..........
