Heater lowdown

I am looking into installing a heater for my 30k gal pool. Pretty sure I'm going with gas since I have a gas hookup already from a previous heater and we want to heat on an as-needed basis. I am also looking to convert to a SWG system. Currently I use liquid chlorine and sometime tabs in the chlorinator. I would appreciate some guidance on the heater (the info in the SWG forum is excellent so no questions on that yet). Is there a post in Pool School or somewhere that gives a summary on the various brands out there?

Welcome to TFP!!!!

Raypak heaters seems to get the best reviews. Get the largest you can afford and your gas pipe will support.
