Solar cover reel clips

I have a solar cover reel for my AGP .and I love it except for one thing...the plastic screws that connect the cover to the straps constantly pop out...especially the ones near the center of the reel...anyone else have this problem and a solution....maybe a better way to connect...thanks so much for any advice.

I'm not sure of a solution using what you've got (if I am imagining the right thing), but I've seen others here who put grommets in the cover and had straps tied into those.
