Having trouble with pump turning off after running for a few minutes. We checked hoses and believe they are all correct and we also opened the pressure release valve let out some water and hit the reset. It ran again for a few minutes then stopped again. It ran fine the last year and the first week this year after setting the pool up. Do I need a new filter or have I done something wrong in the install process?

Welcome to TFP! I don't know why it shutting off, but I do know you should be replacing the filter at least every 2 weeks on this filter.
I chose to invest in a sand filter this year because I felt like I owned stock in the filter companies from buying so many last year.
