You just got my pool up Last Weekend and the new Waterway sand filter Set up I bought is plagued with problems. They do not do anything but toss it in a large box without packing.
It arrived with a few broken parts wich they sent and after installing the motor squeals at times and the bottom drain will not seal.

Recommend a good set for me for a 11,000 gallon pool.
Budget $400-500 range

My 22 year old Doughboy 1 hp pump finally died 2 weeks ago - could not afford a replacement until I found a 1.5 hp Doheny Clea-Tek pump at Pool Supply superstore for $79 and free shipping. Hooked it up Friday and it is amazing. I have it paired with the sand filter listed in my sig that I got from ebay, cannot remember the exact cost on that but I am cheap so I know it was a deal. Probably no more than $200.
