Separate Pump for features

Hello all. I am considering running a separate Pump for water features in my new build and want your thoughts.

15k gallon pool
3 3ft sheer decent
3 bubblers

I want to have the ability to control sheer decent and bubblers independently of each other via easytouch.

Should I run one massive 3hp vs intelliflo or two separate pumps? If I run two, what kind should I use?

My energy rates are about 10 cents/kw

Personally I would definitely run separate pumps. I can't make an educated suggestion on which pump to run...but a VS would be nice (adjustability in flow would be perfect to dial in the effect you want. my PB used a single speed pump for my waterfalls, and put a valve in it to alter flow characteristics....the sheer descents shot out 3 ft un obstructed. I suggested a smaller pump...he took another route (I don't agree with it, but I'll end up replacing with a VS when it craps out.)

I am a big fan of my 3hp VS pump. It runs everything in my pool. Waterfall, skimmers, drain, solar panels all flow controlled by valves.

I don't think the 3hp intelliflo will push everything at the same time. 3 bubblers amd 3 3ft sheer decents. Collectively that would need 150 gpm
