Cleaning water line stains

I have not one but two nasty brown water line stains on my lines from the swamp water the previous owners blessed me with .. one is above the water line, the other below it. Are there any good methods to remove thsese outside hours of scrubbing? The brush seems to get some of it but there is some tougher discoloration that just won't go away.

To help you out, we need to know what type of pool you have... fiberglass? plaster w/ tile? vinyl?

It's a AG with a vinyl liner

We've got something called "wipeout" that seems to take that line away.

also we added a scumbug to the skimmer and is soaking up lots of black gunk.

Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser - it works :-D

Baking soda or pH+ on a green kitchen scrubbie will also do the job.
