Got busy chlorine dropped.

My mom came over to visit today.
We added bleach this morning btw.
We went for a swim, cooked out, ate dinner and then talked for a bit.
My mom just left and our FC dropped to 2.0 and our cya is 40
Not sure how long it was low but do I need to slam because it dropped below recommended min level?
I just added 58 oz of bleach to get it back up over night.

No, just get it back to normal.

A pool is like a living thing. If it's well-nourished, it can withstand a little bit of vitamin deficiency. If the pool is already weak, then it might be enough to make it sick.

Oh good thank you. I feel much better. I treat this pool like a member of my family so this is first time it's ever dropped. I'll keep watch though for any changes.
