stair coping issue

I have posted some pictures to help me figure out the stair/coping issue. If i install per manufacture recommendation i will have quite a lip when entering the pool. If i make the coping flush i will have an air pocket between stairs and coping. If i pull the stairs forward away from the wall, i will have 1/2 gap between walls and front of stairs for the liner to get stretched out to. Help!

Doesn't the coping go higher ?? I'm looking at the last photo. It appears there is a little lip that the coping rests on.

It did go higher, just got done installing. Figured it out. You can go much higher due to the liner.
